gdy zatracę się w dniu
wczorajszego słońca
gdy przyjdę nad rzekę
nie dotykając obłoków
gdy już zobaczę wnętrze
góry zielonej zdobionej drzewem
gdy wszystko okaże się
moim niebem
odgadnę życia sens
stanę pośrodku drzew
między jeziorem a niebem
wówczas powiem :
"żyję tylko dla Ciebie
Panie "
I live for...
when I lose myself
within the fading light
of yesterday’s golden sun
when I come to rest beside the river
without reaching for the clouds above
when at last I glimpse the heart
of the emerald mountain crowned with trees
when all that is
becomes my boundless sky
then I shall grasp life’s true meaning
standing midst the ancient trees
between the lake and endless heavens
and in that sacred moment, I will say:
“I live for You alone,
O Lord.”
